Barbecue Cook-off fund raiser
The sixth annual River’s End Volunteer Fire Department Barbecue Cook-off fund
raiser will be May 2 and 3 at 12070 FM 2918. If you are a cooking team, the
department requests that you enter. The entry fee is $25 per category
(categories are brisket, ribs, chicken and beef fajitas).
Public welcome to join in the fun and good food for a good cause. Open cooking,
stuffed baked potatoes (for a $7 donation), an auction and a dance (featuring
Anthony Smith) will be May 2 and activities for May 3 include contest judging
and a barbecue plate lunch available for $7.
